Season Finale Update: Grimm

I guess I should be calling this the series finale update because Grimm has come to an end (tears). I'll talk about that 2 part finale first.
I thought it was amazing! My favorite part was when Nick's mom, Kelly, and Aunt Marie came back to help and all the Grimms were fighting the devil. Also, we finally found out how Trubel is related to Nick, which, interestingly enough, I was just wondering days before I watched.
Now I know some people were upset that the end basically retconned itself but I liked it.  One, I had a feeling that the portal was some a time portal type of thing, so I was excited when Nick came out of it back at the point in time. Two, I wouldn't of liked it if Nick just got the power of the stick and brought all his friends back to life. Nick had to come terms with the fact that he had to sacrifice the ones he loved for the greater good. Also, I would've wondered if Nick was just taking the place of the devil if it just ended after the battle. Plus, it's the series finale. For me to be satisfied with it, it had to have a happy ending that still left a part of the story open ended. That's what happened so I'm happy. Well, the only thing I didn't like was that we weren't able to see the triplets. I mean, how would it have been if it ended with Kelly, Diana, and the triplets (preferably woging) going out to fight?! It would've been awesome!!

This season didn't disappoint. I was intense and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I likes how all the storylines culminated. I'm sad to the show go. But I'm happy that it's ending was a positive one. It's been fun!

Winter Premieres 2017: Grimm

The final season of Grimm is here and it started off with a bang. They aren't wasting any time. The episode jumped right back in where we left off and just took off. It was a good episode that kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more. I really wished the episode was two hours because of that cliffhanger of an ending.

As for what's to come, I'm wondering when Nick will leave Portland. My first thought is that the entire season will be the team figuring out how to get him out of the state but it could happen sooner than that, if it happens at all. I have a feeling that if Nick does leave Portland it'll be on different terms then what's presented now. Like, he'll leave only because he's won the war and is starting a new journey somewhere else or going on vacation.
Juliette/Eve is proving to be a huge asset to the team and I wonder if she'll ever be Juliette again. Right now she's in this in between state and, because of that stick, seems to becoming something new entirely.
Who knows what will come of Renard? My hope is that they defeat him or he turns good and helps them defeat a bigger bad, whoever that may be. I mean, there really has to be a bigger bad out there in control of much more then they could ever think of (especially when you have this healing stick in play).
I just hope nothing bad happens to anyone, not even Bud, but especially Rosalee, Monroe and their baby. I want there to be a happy ending for everyone.

I am very excited to see what happens in these final episodes. The more they discover about the healing stick and the clothe it was wrapped in, the more intrigued I get. I need to know where it originated, what those symbols mean and why Juliette/Eve is the only person who can see them. This is going to be one crazy ride but I am strapped in and ready!

2017 Winter Premieres

Grimm, Friday January 6th at 8pm on NBC
The final season. I'm sad to see it go but excited to learn more about the healing stick and what Nick and the crew are up to now. It'll be interesting to see how they wrap it all up.

Emerald City, Friday January 6th at 9pm on NBC
The really trailer and the cast intrigued me, so I'm giving it a chance. I'll review this after the first 2 or 3 episodes.


Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Friday January 13th on Netflix
I've been a fan of the books since elementary school. This was my Harry Potter. I was excited when the movie came out and I'm hoping that the series does the book series justice. I'll review this after I've completed the season.

Scandal, Thursday January 19th at 9pm on ABC
I am still here for this show. There's just something there that keeps drawing me back in. I may need to watch the season 5 finale again to refresh my memory, but I will be there with my wine and popcorn, livetweeting with all you Gladiators!

Voltron, Friday January 20th on Netflix
I remember the season 1 finale and how mad I was that it ended the way it did so I'm very excited to see what happens next.

Outsiders, Tuesday January 24th at 9pm on WGN
The show I never thought I'd watch or like but I do. Sasil, my Sasil, how I've missed thee. I've really missed everything about this show and can't wait to see what the characters get into this season.

The Fosters, Tuesday January 31st at 8pm on Freeform
This show continues to be drama on drama, but now things are getting really intense. Every character seems to be in a bad place right now and I'm itching to see how they get out of it.

Switched at Birth, Tuesday January 31st at 9pm on Freeform
Another show starting it's final season which makes me so sad because it's still the only one of it's kind on TV. It's sad that it will end with nothing in it's place, but nothing lasts forever. I'm sure there will be tons of tears from me throughout the season and especially during the finale episode.

Underground, Wednesday March 8th at 10pm on WGN
One of the most thrilling shows on TV is finally back. I can't wait to have these characters back on my screen, especially their newest character, Harriet Tubman. I legit screamed when they introduced her and knowing Aisha Hinds will play her makes me 10 times more excited.

Grimm Finale Update

The fight to take down Black Claw was on in this 2 hours finale and I loved every minute of it. So much happened so let's break it down. Adalind turned against everyone and went along with Black Claw's plan to be in a fake family with Renard. During the fight Eve got hurt and when Nick went to use the magic healing stick something interesting happened. It seems like it turned her back to Juliette. Wu was able to use his werewolf powers to help the team out. Monroe and Rosalee are expecting their first child, and this magic healing stick is still a mystery. The fight against Black Claw isn't over, though. Diana finally used her powers for good through Renard but we are unsure where he stands now. Will he get back on Team Grimm or become a new leader of Black Claw?

This was another good season for Grimm. There was a lot of action and mystery. I think they did a nice job with the Black Claw storyline. My favorite part of the season was the mystery behind the keys being discovered. The team was finally able to put together the map and figured out where it was leading them to. I loved the episode when Nick and Monroe went on their adventure and found this stick. I just wished they focused a little bit more time on finding out what the stick is. We know it heals people, but I want to know where it came from and what exactly was written on the cloth that it was covered in. Hopefully that's touched on next season.
I've expressed how I felt about Nick and Adalind's relationship in previous posts. They tried it this season, but now their trust is broken. I can't imagine Nick getting back together with her any time soon, if at all.

I'm excited to see what happens next season. If Juliette really is back, that's going to shake things up. Will she and Nick try to rekindle their relationship? Wu seems to be embracing his werewolf side now that he has control over it. I would love to see the team use him as a secret weapon. They're the only ones that know about his change and I hope they keep it that way. Like I said above, I really want them to dive deeper into the history of this magic stick. Not only that, I want them to get more into the Grimm history. I really love the mystery of that and I want that to be a big part of next season.

Fall Finale Update: Grimm

So the last season of Grimm was ...interesting. (I think that's the right word for it.) It ended with Trubel shooting Juliet and we all assumed she was dead. This is season started right were the last left off, but we still didn't know if Juliet was alive or dead. Personally, I thought she was alive, mainly because I didn't want her to be dead.

• Trubel:  When we last saw her she shot Juliette and then they both vanished. Trubel is one of my favorite characters so I was a little upset that she wasn't around anymore. Thankfully, she came back. She's working for this secret HW group that had her all over the world. Hopefully we'll hear more about who they are and why they do what they do when the show returns because I am very intrigued.
• Renard's friend: So his friend is running for mayor and Renard is endorsing him. There has to be more to this story than we know now. They wouldn't be giving it this much attention if there wasn't. Maybe Sean will end up running for mayor? Or there's more to his friend then we know. Maybe he's involved in this wessen uprising somehow?
• Wessen uprising: So all throughout the season there have been a string of crimes happening and the perpetrator keeps leaving these claw marks on the walls. We know now that it's wessen. And, it's not wessen versus humans, it's wessen versus wessen. So my question is why are they fighting their own kind and what happened to start all this? 

The fall finale ended with a pretty big cliffhanger. It threw me because I wasn't expecting it and I didn't even realize that the episode was over! So I though there was going to be more and there wasn't. I was that person yelling 'NO' at the TV screen. Two huge things happened that I want to talk about.

• Trubel shooting Juliette: Trubel admitted that she was sent back to Nick's house to shoot Juliette. It was assumed that when she went back she only shot Juliette because she was hurting Nick. Now I want to know if the plan was to kill Juliet or just harm her so the HW group could take her captive.
• Juliette's alive: I was right this whole time! I'm so happy that she's not dead. Plus, it looks like she's working on Nick's side, in a way, which is good. I just have so many questions, like what's up with the new hair?

I went in this season a little shaky, but I'm liking it so far. I just hope that all my questions get answered. We'll find out in January.

2015 Fall Premieres Part 5: Supergirl, Grimm

Supergirl
Another superhero show, are you surprised?! I really liked it. They get super bonus points for having a female superhero. I think the special effects were pretty good and I loved the Dean Cain cameo. One of the things that I hope to love about this show is the relationship between Kara and her sister. It already looks like it has the potential to be great. I have siblings and I really appreciate it when I see sibling relationships portrayed on TV done well. It really makes characters more round when they have friendships, romantic relationships and familial/sibling relationships. I do hope that this relationship is written well.

Grimm
So here's what went down in the season 5 premiere. Nick is on the war path to find out where Trubel is, where Juliette's body is and where his mother's head is. Also, a war is starting in Portland. Some really bad wessen are coming and it's not going to be pretty. And on top of all that, Adalind had her baby! Oh yeah, no on really knows if Juliette is dead. I'm on the not dead ship because we've seen no body and I don't really want her to be dead. I mean, she probably is but anything can happen.
This episode was crazy intense and it doesn't look like it's going to slow down any time soon. I felt a little iffy about last season so I hope that this one is better.

• Marcus is back as a series regular and he's probably the newest member of OPA! I think that's the only thing I'm really excited about. My hope is that we never hear about B613 ever again. Oh and for Olitz, yall know I've been over it for a while. Maybe Fitz will actually get his life together and stop being such a dud. Then maybe I might want them together. MAYBE!
• How to Get Away With Murder
• I just recently read that we are going to learn more about Bonnie and Annalise's relationship which is something I really wanted to know about. Also, who killed Rebecca?

Thursday October 1

• Sleepy Hollow, 9pm Fox
• What can I say? This show as had it's ups and downs, but I have hope. I think they're hitting the rewind button and take things to back to how they were in S1. I think they'll do kind of a reset so people who haven't watched, can and not feel like they missed anything, but leave things in there for us OG Sleepyheads. From what I've read, there's great things on the horizon. I mean, Joe Corbin is back, Lance Gross is a series regular, and there's a time jump. I'm super excited about all of these things. 

Tuesday October 6

• The Flash, 8pm CW
• I love this show SO MUCH! I am so excited about season 2. We get Wally West, we get Iris working with STAR Labs and we get mama West (Vanessa Williams)! I can't wait to find out where she's been and why she's been gone for so long. 

Monday October 12

• Jane the Virgin, 9pm CW
• I'm so ready for another season of this crazy show. I just want to know where Jane's baby is.

Friday October 30

• Grimm, 10pm NBC
• I don't know what's going on with this show right now. I wasn't happy with the direction they went with Juliette nor do I like the fact that Adalind is pregnant, again. I'm sill curious to see what happens next.
