But, on the the stuff that happened in the episode, Rachel went in for her Funny Girl callback and it didn't go as she planned. It didn't help that she went and eavesdropped on what I think was the director and the guy she auditioned with. They didn't say super nice things. It wasn't awful, they just think she's too inexperienced. In other news, Santana got Rachel a job at the diner where she works. I'm happy they finally have jobs because it makes it more realistic. I mean, were their parents really paying for school tuition and an apartment in New York?! That stuff ain't cheap. That's all that happened in New York.
At McKinley, Sue Sylvester is back and she's principal! She basically was asked to come back once Becky admitted to bringing the gun to school, but she wouldn't come back unless she had a bigger title than before. So, she planted incriminating evidence in Figgins office, thus getting him fired and she is now the interim principal. Of course Will is super pissed about it because he's always pissed around Sue and needs to take a chill pill. So, he and Coach Roz (yay Nene's back, too) are in Sue's office thinking that they're about to lose their jobs. The both of them get played because all Sue wants them to do is get the New Directions and Cheerios to win national championships. Sue's actually on their side! She want to officially be principal and the only way to do that is to have the clubs succeed. So I guess we'll be seeing a lot of Sue's nice side when it comes to the New Directions.
The glee clubbers take themselves to a carnival and love is in the air! Artie and Kitty are all cutsie, flirty with each other and even start going out on the down low, but Tina shuts that down real quick! Tina is not blind and can totally tell that have something going on and she confronts Artie about it, but he tells her to butt out. She couldn't do that and spills the beans in front of the whole glee club. At this point I didn't know if Tina was jealous or bitter when she tried to sabotage Kitty but it didn't work. Kitty apologizes to Artie and they make their relationship really official, but we saw that coming a mile away. Later we find out that Tina is the only member of the "too young to be bitter" club and the boys of glee club try and cheer her up with a song, of course, and letting her choose which on she can take to prom. She chooses Sam and I guess all her bitterness is gone.
In other couple news, Blaine and Kurt get back together and Blaine announces to everyone that he's going to propose! Blaine obviously hasn't learned much from the other people in high school that got engaged at that age. With the help of the New Directions, along with Vocal Adrenalin, The Warblers, and that deaf school's glee club he proposes with the song 'All You Need Is Love.' I loved it. I didn't get why the other glee clubs (except for the Warblers) had to help but it was great. And yes, I would definitely want to be proposed to that way. Kurt's answer was a mystery to me because he was talking about it with his dad on the way there (because he somehow figured it out) and didn't even know what to say! But in the end he said yes and I guess we just have to wait and see what happens. If they end up getting married, cool, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some bumps along the way.
That was all the main things that happened in this episode. Now on to my little side notes.
I really wonder what Blaine's parents have to say about this proposal. Have we even seen his parents??
Figgins is one of my favorite characters. I just realized that last night.
Who chuckled when Kitty called Artie Arthur?
Well, that's all I have. Next week is more Beatles so I think I'll go brush up on the music so I can sing along.
