Glee - All or Nothing

It's finally regionals and its the season finale, and crazy things happen on season finales. So, let's get to it.
The episode starts off with Brittany having a meeting with, I'm guessing, professors at MIT. They basically tell her she's a genius and compare her to Albert Einstein. Crazy right. I thought the whole thing was a dream but I was wrong. She started acting weird and made crazy demands because she got early acceptance and has to leave ASAP. Santana was the only one that could  talk some sense into her. So Brittany is graduating and going to college and she's super smart now. Wow. 
So, the next big and crazy thing was Ryder. He is still obsessed with finding out who the catfisher is. This leads him to demanding to see people's phones and yelling and kicking things. Marley, of all people, confesses to being the catfisher. But why would she do it? Ryder asked her that very question and she couldn't answer because it wasn't her! She was covering for Wade/Unique. I'm not surprised it was him. Ryder got all pissed off and is basically cutting all ties off with the glee club. After regionals, he's leaving. I guess we saw that coming since he only got 7 episodes but I was really hoping that he wold get asked to stay. But, he's leaving and who knows if he'll come back. 
So it's time for regionals, which by some stroke of luck is held in McKinley's auditorium! The club sang some very nice songs. I liked the original song much better than all the rest. As for the other song, sadly, I didn't really know them so I must start listening to the radio more often. The New Directions go on to win 1st place and are heading to nationals. After the show everyone is super excited and all of a sudden Emma comes in with a pastor and says she wants to marry Will right then and there! So, after a long, long wait, they finally get married! Which leads me to Blaine.
Blaine is still on this wedding thing with Kurt so he went ring shopping and there he met this old lady who just happened to be a lesbian. She and her girlfriend take Blaine and Kurt out to Breadsticks and talk about a bunch of things and the girls end up getting engaged! Now, we know that Blaine bought a ring because the last thing was saw was him holding it behind his back but he didn't do anything with it. I really hope that he doesn't propose. Kurt may still always love Blaine but he seems like he's over their relationship. Plus he is too young and hasn't explored anything out of Lima, OH. Give him a few years in New York and see if he still feels the same way. 
That's basically it. Except Rachel went to her callback but we have no idea if she got the role or not. And what will happen if she does? Will she quit NYADA? And what about Finn? So many questions.
Overall, I have to say that this episode was a little weird. Apparently they filmed alternate ending. I just wonder what the other ones were. I was anticipating more of a cliffhanger but oh well.
Overall this season was great. It took some time to get used to all the changes but it all worked out. Now we wait and see what happens in season 5.  

Glee - Wonder-ful

It's Stevie Wonder week! Everything seems to be on the up and up with everyone this week. The Will and Emma wedding is back on (again), people are getting into college (Tina, Arty), Brittany is visiting a college (wow), and some of the old New Directions are back to help out with regionals prep. This time the preparations weren't interrupted by blackouts and bad news. Mercedes and Mike are back to help and Kurt came back because his dad has a follow up check up to see if he still has cancer or not. Now, I must have missed or just forgotten that whole 'Kurt's dad has cancer' episode because I was all shocked when they mentioned it last night. But anyways, Kurt has gone all OCD until (hopefully until) he finds out if his dad is okay or not. Luckily his dad went into remission and is okay. Now we can all hope and pray that Kurt's OCD actions are over. Also, Blaine is still totally in love with Kurt and what does he do but ask Kurt's dad for Kurt's hand in marriage!! Oh no!! Why on Earth would he think that's a good idea?! Kurt's dad seems to agree with me and has a serious conversation with Blaine about it. (Thank goodness) It almost doesn't sink in but when Blaine tries to propose he can't do it. Good, maybe this will be the couple that waits.
Everyone knows that Mercedes has a record deal, and she's also back to shoot a music video but things don't go as planned. She mentions that things started going south with her producer when he wanted her to show more skin at a photo shoot but she refused. Now he's giving her the ultimatum: a new photo shoot with more skin or no music video. So she had a chose to make and good thing she made the right one and dropped that guy. 
Now Arty got accepted into a film school in New York but, according to him, his mother (Katey Sagal) doesn't want him to go. After Kitty does some serious meddling we find out that it's Arty who is really the one afraid to go. But, his mother talks some sense into him and he decides to follow his dreams. 
The last big thing that happens in this episode is with Rachel. She, as we know, is preparing for her Funny Girl audition but Cassandra July doesn't make it easy for her. She tells Rachel tat it's okay for her to go to the call back but is forcing her to take her midterm all early. But it's all a scam! What Rachel thought was her midterm was actually a celebration good job and good luck party dance number type thing. Cassandra was actually being nice (which is unnatural) but she tried to play it off with the whole "it's tradition" excuse. Rachel thanked her for being such a meanie and Cassandra admitted that she actually thinks Rachel is good and that's why she was so mean. Oh so touching. 
Now overall this episode was okay. As for the songs, no one can do Stevie but Stevie himself. They tried but ... My favorite song was 'Higher Ground' sung by Mercedes. I'm upset that they sang 'For Once In My Life' only because I feel like that song is over sung by so many people and I'm tired of hearing it. The only other song that I like was 'Superstitious.' That's all that happened in this episode. Next week it's finally regionals and it's the season finale which means something crazy is bound to happen. Until then!

Glee - Lights Out

It seems like every time the New Directions try to prepare for regionals something gets in the way. This week it was a power outage. This prompts Will to make it acoustic week. 
We still don't know who is catfishing Ryder and he is determined to find out who it is. His reasoning: because he shared some deep dark secrets to her (or him); deep dark secrets that no one knows about, even his closest friends. Jake tells Ryder that he should share this secret with his friends and not some random unknown person on the internet. So Ryder decides to "unplug his feelings" to the group. He sings and we see that the glee club is still getting slushied. (Dang) After his song he shares that he was molested at a young age. Whoa  Glee taking on another serious issue. But, Sam and Artie didn't make matters any better when they start questioning why it's such a big deal, considering a woman committed the crime. What idiots. I'm pretty sure if Ryder was happy about the incident he wouldn't have kept it a secret from all his friends. Those guys are dopes and need some sense knocked into them. Since they didn't understand, Kitty takes Ryder out to eat to let him know she gets it and has her support. She also shares that the same thing happened to her when she was younger and she had to switch schools because of it!!! I was completely shocked at the point. I was not expecting this at all. I'm just speechless, but I will say that it's nice that Ryder has someone that really understands. 
In the mists of all that we finally see where Sue ended up. She is now a personal trainer and Blaine decided to visit her class. He goes down there to tell her that he knows something shady is going on surrounding her confession to the shooting and that he's going to find out what it was. Sue also visits the school, keeping an eye on her beloved Cheerios. Becky talks to her about how being a Cheerio is not the same with Sue not there and she ends up getting in trouble with Coach Roz on purpose so she can talk to the principal. We don't know what she said to him but we can guess that it was a confession; we just don't know what happened to her. Did she get suspended? Expelled? Is Sue going to come back? After this the power finally comes back on. 
Not much really happened in New York. We find out that Santana's not doing much with her life there and has become a cage dancer!! Kurt and Rachel try to knock some sense into her but it doesn't work. We do find out that Kurt is still working for SJP and he is working some ballet event and the girls attend and work it with him. This is when Santana decides to do more with her life and in the end we see her taking a dance class at NYADA. Most of the time we're in New York we see Rachel, Kurt, Santana and SJP singing some song about the ballet which, in my opinion, was too long. 
Overall this was a good episode; very heartbreaking at times. It was really nice to see the soft side of Santana and Kitty, especially. I liked how the group did "We Will Rock You" Stomp style, but I just can't deal with Jake dancing ballet. It's just really weird. Another weird thing was seeing Blaine workout in short shorts. I really have no words for that. Oh, and Kitty definitely likes Ryder whether she's catfishing him or not, she's crushing on him!! I just hope that Ryder gets over his catfisher. Lastly, I just have one question: why did the power go out??

Glee - Sweet Dreams

Glee is back, post-shooting and things seem to be a little different at McKinley. Some of the New Directions are acting pretty strange; Tina changed her style, Sam has created this "twin" named Evan, and Wade is trying to grow boobs by taking birth control pills!! But, the biggest change is with Will. For some reason he's gotten really mean. I don't know if it has to do with the shooting or his relationship with Finn but something is making him act like a jerk. He tries a second time to get the group ready for regionals and this time he knows the theme, which is dreams. So he picks out all these awful songs an won't take any suggestions, and then when the group goes behind his back he freaks out on them. Marley is determined to get him to  choose on of her original songs but he won't have it. So she goes behind his back and has some of the kids sing the song with her just to see how it sounds. My opinion of the song: the words were kind of corny but overall it was amazing. Of course Will is in the background for most of it and this is the moment when he realizes he needs to lighten up. 
Finn goes to college. Within minutes we see him in not one but TWO of those FAKE harlem shake things. That made me so mad. Then he discovers that Puck decided to move back to Ohio and hang out at that school. And yes I mean hang out like, he's not even enrolled there. They go buck wild!! Finn skips classes, they have water slides on the dorm hallway, and go to a frat party. Basically Finn is spiraling out of control. Will visits him to apologize and try to knock some sense into him but, at first, it doesn't work. It actually takes Puck to get Finn to come to his senses and Finn finds a way to go back to McKinley and get college credit for it. Thank God because one thing Glee got wrong was normal college dorm life. They really need to stick to high school. 
In other McKinley news Roz aka NeNe Leekes is back and has taken over the Cheerios. I love it. She is absolutely hilarious and I'm happy we'll see her more. She brings Blaine and Becky in to her office to make sure that they won't let what happen to Sue happen to her, and Becky gets a little too emotional. She is definitely going to get found out soon. 
At NYADA, Shelby is back!! Rachel's mom returns to help her out with her audition for Funny Girl and of course they sing a duet! "Next To Me" on Glee. I enjoyed it. I mean, I love that songs so to have it on Glee was great! Shelby comes back because she has some Braodway daycare business which makes me think we may be seeing more of her. Shelby tries to help Rachel choose a song but instead she turns to Finn.He is the one that puts the idea in her head to sing "Don't Stop Believin'". That is the only song I don't mind being re-used on this show. There was also a bit of a flashback while she was on stage with the original club members. I must say that Rachel and Finn are THAT couple on TV. You know, the couple that belongs together but aren't because every single obstacle possible gets in their way, but in the end they get together after, what seems like, a million years. At first I thought it was Will and Emma. Maybe it's both. I don't know, this is just a sidenote. Back to Rachel, she gets a callback; YAY!
Overall this episode was good. We're back to going back and forth from McKinley to New York. We don't know what Sue's doing but it looks like we'll find that out next week. And it looks like the glee club will be doing original songs at regionals. I'm not mad at them because that is one of the things that this show does well. We just have to see if it's enough to get them into Nationals.   

Glee - Shooting Star

Glee is back!! This entire episode takes place at McKinley High. So, it starts with the group getting ready for regionals. Brittany comes in to tell everyone that a meteor asteroid thing is headed for Earth and will kill them all. So Will takes advantage of this and make the theme of the week was last chance. Brittany uses this chance to tell her cat how much she loves him. Sam actually got the whole group together to help her sing a song to it. That's just a little too weird for me. Another weird confession: Coach Beiste likes Will. Super awkward and kind of ridiculous. Ryder also uses the theme to confront the girl who, he thinks, is catfishing him. He sings "Your Song" to this Katie girl only to realize that he's not singing to Katie at all. Someone used this girls picture to talk to Ryder and be anonymous. He goes on somewhat of a war path trying to find out who the real person is, blaming everyone from Kitty to Jake to Marley (who is probably incapable of doing anything of the sort). He even plans to officially meet this person. Yikes! Becky has a touching moment with Brittany, confessing that she is scared of the real world. I teared up, but the next thing I know the unthinkable happens. 
Gun shots! The glee club was meeting and next thing you know a gun goes off; twice. The next 10 or 15 minutes were the most intense moments of my TV watching life and that's saying a lot because I watch Scandal. The glee club locks themselves in the room and hides and waits. Everyone is crying and scared and no one knows what's going on. To make it worse Tina and Brittany aren't there. So, Sam goes nuts trying to leave the room to go find Brittany. Eventually will goes to find her and some other who hid in the bathroom. We also see that Tina got out of the school with the rest of the students. In these moments Kitty confessed to Marley about how she made her think she was getting fat and Ryder called his catfisher and surprisingly a phone in the room went off. Artie also took the time to film everyone saying their last words. After some time the all clear was given and they were allowed to leave. At this point I think I entered a state of shock. I was tearing up and shaking the entire time. I was really speechless after everything. I must say that all of the actors did an amazing job. 
Afterwards came some confusion. Sue confessed to shooting the gun!!! It really made no sense what so ever. Of all people it was Sue?! And she gets fired!! But we see that it was actually Becky who brought in the gun and accidentally shot it off. I wasn't too surprised at this. All she wanted to do was protect herself from this world that she's so very scared of. It was extremely sad. 
Overall, like I said before, this episode was intense. To comment a little on the controversy of it; I didn't think it was bad. As we see in the news, school shootings happen and this show tackles issues that happen in the real world. They tackled suicide and texting while driving so it's not really a a shock that they would tackle school shootings. Compared to another show that I've watched that tackled the same issue, this episode was a lot easier to watch. No one got hurt. It was a bad portrayal at all, and this was one of Glee's better episodes. I just want to know if Sue will return. What would the show be without her? I hope she still is seen. Also, Ryder never met the person and I wonder if he ever will. I kind of hope the person get revealed only because it's really going to bug me. Well, until next week.

The Game - Seaon 6 premiere

The Game is back for season 6 and it's a big one. They have reached 100 episodes. This is a huge accomplishment and congratulations are in order. YAY for 100 episodes. Now onto what happen in that 100th episode and what I think. 
I guess I'll start off with what I liked. First, they got rid of that dang laugh track, which I hate. Thank God. I also liked that Malik, Tasha and Tee Tee brought the laughs. They were the only people that made me laugh throughout the hour; which brings me to the things that I didn't like. 
Where was the comedy? The Game that I remember was always as funny as it was dramatic, but now it seems way more dramatic than funny, and to me that just makes it more like a soap opera. Another thing I didn't like was this Blue dude. First off, his last name is Westbrook which only makes me think of the Eagles. And second, he has a big head. He's already full of himself and he didn't even do anything yet! If he's supposed to be an annoying jerk then he's doing a great job. The other thing I didn't like was Derwin's storyline, but there was really nothing I could do about that. They had to have him leave and that's how they chose to do it. It was just so sad, especially when he was crying. It was real. And lastly (which is kind of silly), how dare they keep dangling Rick Fox in our faces, playing with my emotions! 
So what's my verdict: ehh. I'm still on the fence about watching this show, but I'm leaning towards not watching. I really don't understand how the show can go on when 2 of the main characters are gone. I know this is an ensemble show, but looking back to the pilot, Melanie was the one that brought us into this world and now she's gone. Yes, people get traded in football all the time but I wish there was a way that they could still be on the show with this trade happening. The only reason why I would watch is because of Tee Tee, Rick Fox and my love for football. I honesetly think I'll watch next week. Only because the first episode of a new season is never that amazing and it's just the beginning of a storyline. Nothing really happens yet, though I wish it did. But don't count on me giving them my rating week after week. I'll be resulting to DVR and online watching from now on. Viewers come and go, "but the game goes on." 

Now I'm going to go on a little rant.
I think it's pretty sad that this show is what it is now. I'm not the only one who feels this way; just look and Twitter (and even Instagram). So many people don't like it. And it's sad because this is a show created by Blacks with basically and all Black cast and sadly today we don't see enough of this on TV. All I want is for this show to succeed and I hate not supporting this show and seeing it go downhill. I guess all I can do now is hope for some miracle that will make the show good again. Glee - Guilty Pleasures

"Secrets, secrets are no fun unless you share with everyone." It's guilty pleasure week! I must be honest. For the first 10 minutes I just sat there, speechless, wondering what I was witnessing. I mean there was macaroni faces and 80's clothing. I was like what the heck! Oh and then there was that boyfriend arm thing!! I was beginning to think that this guilty pleasure idea was not good. I had enough of it. But that all changed thank to Kitty. Once she shared her guilty pleasure things got better. Her's was the Spice Girls! Now who doesn't love the Spice Girls? No one. All the girls (and Wade/Unique) shared the same feelings which prompted them to do a Spice Girls number; "Wannabee." And I'm pretty sure that performance made Kitty seem a little more attractive to Arty. He definitely likes her. Sharing guilty pleasures seemed like a good idea at first. Sam shared his love for Barry Manilow which was also shared by all the other guys (even Jake which is odd to me). The only person that got trouble for his guilty pleasure was Jake. At first he wanted to do a Chris Brown song but the girls, especially Marley, went crazy. I must admit that he did present a good case for his choice. Liking Chris Brown was obviously something that he didn't want to and shouldn't share with the group, and they do sing a lot of songs by people who aren't the best role models. I had to agree with him on that. But, sadly, he changed his mind and sang a Bobby Brown song; "My Prerogative." It got me up dancing and I thought it was great, but it wasn't. No one liked it because Bobby Brown allegedly got Whitney Houston hooked on drugs. This kid can't win. Marley was pissed again but, like always, they made up after about 5 seconds. I'm still mad he didn't sing Chris Brown. 
Oh yeah. Blaine finally confessed his love for Sam and they're still friends. 
As for the boyfriend arm, that's Kurt's guilty pleasure. I rather not speak much more on that because it's just too weird. So, Santana is still living with Rachel and Kurt but now she has to play rent ('bout time!"). And it looks like she and Kurt have a new found friendship. She told Kurt all about Brody and he believes her. Now Rachel's the only one that doesn't know her ex is a man whore, but that doesn't last long. Santana just goes right out and tells her because Rachel was acting like they would get back together. NO. No x 10. Rachel needs to stay far far away from the gigolo. But she goes to him, with money, and asked for a date. HA! That was the best thing ever! Hilarious. Then they sang "Creep" which was perfect. 
The episode ended with both groups singing "Mamma Mia."
Overall this was a great episode. I loved their guilty pleasures, and I realized that I have no guilty pleasures. Is that weird? I guess I'm not ashamed of anything. And we have to wait another 3 weeks to see a new episode so I'll see you then.
