Secret Life

I'm only writing to say that this episode really resolved nothing. Lauren, Amy and Madison aren't back to being friends yet and I don't blame them. I would be mad if my best friend betrayed me like that. It's gonna take a lot and a long time for these girls to be friends again.
So Grace has a half brother ... very interesting.

That's all I really have to say. I just wanna see what happens next week because we finally get to see if Amy is pregnant again.

The Game

I'm beginning to form a love/hate relationship with this show. They keep having these not so good episodes and then they hit us with these good ones, like Tuesdays, and reel me back in.
I thought this episode was really interesting.
I can not believe that Derwin missed that block!! The thought didn't even cross my mind until they said it and now that Kwan is really hurt ... I don't know. That was really cold. But, it really is like old times now that Malik is back playing. I'm happy he's back on the field.
I knew that this surrogacy thing wasn't gonna work out. Tasha really didn't seem in to it, but I'm shocked that Derwin reacted the way he did. I don't if I thought he would be okay with it but at least they had someone that said they would do it. I mean he keeps talking about "the legacy" and this a start in getting one. I know he has DJ but he ain't married to Janay so ... And I wonder if Melanie will get herself together and start practicing medicine because it seemed like she wanted to when she made that comment about putting her life on hold (or something like that ).
Overall, I did like this episode!! I loved how we could see them playing on the field. This show is my football fix during the off season and I wasn't getting it until now. Hopefully there's more football to come and I mean, this is a show about football so there should be. I really hope that  next weeks episode isn't about nothing (*crossing fingers*).

Oh! The Game got picked up for a season 6 which will be very interesting.

Glee

I have to be honest, I wasn't paying close attention to this episode so if I forget to mention something I'm sorry.
So OH MY GOODNESS she's in a wheelchair. I honestly thought she died, but I guess that would just be too sad. I just wonder if Quinn will walk again. Maybe Artie is just jealous that there's hope for her but not really for him??? But we shall see, we shall see.
I don't think Finn and Rachel will ever get married at this rate. They keep postponing it, maybe this is a sign that they don't belong together. And did Rachel and Kurt get into NYADA yet?? I thought they did but they were talking about an audition. I guess that's what determines if they are in or not.
I am so happy that Nene Leeks has a recurring role on this show. She is hilarious!!!
Okay now let's talk about Sue. One, I had now idea she had a baby bump until halfway through the episode. Two, her working with the Glee club is just too unusual to me. I don't know if I like it, but maybe she'll help them actually win national this year. (I hope so). Three, who is the father of this baby??? I really wanna know if the make her tell and if she does who they'll say it is. I also wanna know what all that medical talk was about. I may have missed the explanation but they did say that something wasn't right and I wanna know what it is.
Overall, this episode was okay. It wasn't really the epic comeback that I thought it would be. I must be putting Glee on too high of a pedestal?? But, I will always watch so until nest Tuesday ...

Secret Life

I know this is late but I was debating whether I should write this or not so here I go.
This show, this show. I really don't think I have time for it anymore. After this episode.
First off thank God someone's parents (Ben's dad) finally started really to discipline these kids. They are all galavanting around having sex, getting people pregnant, smoking pot and talking to their parents any old way and they never do anything about it. Well, not anymore.
Okay so it's official. I think Amy is way too childish to be getting married. The way she was talking to Ricky proved that. I mean she called him "old man Ricky." It was like she was talking to her dad or something. That whole thing just really bothered me. She has a son!! I know she's still in high school but she really needs to grow up!!
Oh, and that whole classroom scene seemed quite unrealistic to me. Would all the grades really be in one class for all the classes they were taking. And do they really have detention in summer school?? I wouldn't know cuz I've never been.
And I'm really getting sick of Ben defending Adrian. I know they were/ are married and would have had a child together but really. They are getting a divorce so I don't think they should still be acting  like a married couple. And it really was just as much her fault (sleeping with Henry) as it was Henry's fault. So Ben should be equally mad at both of them.
I really just want them to kick up the drama and stop all this immature stuff cuz that is why I watch the show, for the drama. This next episode better shock me to bits!!

The Game

I am so mad right now!!!!! This episode was completely POINTLESS!!!!!! Nothing happened!!!! If I didn't watch this episode I would have missed a thing. And this is what I was talking about before. When there are episodes that really don't effect the storyline people stop watching because they don't think that anything will happen in the rest of the season.
So all we got from this episode is that we now know who Tasha's mother is and we see some of Derwin's family but I guess it's not really his family because they are "play cousins."
I guess that's all I have to say. And it looks like next week they will address whether Tasha is really gonna carry Melanie's baby or not. Personally I don't think she's gonna go through with it, but we shall see.

Downton Abbey

I finally got to the last two episodes and let me say they were interesting.
First off, my hate for Thomas and O'Brien has grown so much more from these last 2 episodes than from the others in this season. They are purely evil. I don’t understand why they are trying to get rid of Mr. Bates so badly. What did he ever do to them that was so bad that he doesn’t deserve to work there? Tell me that. And I really don’t know how O’Brien is able to live with herself after she basically killed Cora’s baby!! She needs to be fired! And good thing Thomas is leaving because he’s just as awful as she is.

Now on to the sisters. First off, I was happy that Mary finally came to her senses and at least considered marrying Matthew. But she obviously doesn’t love him if she was so unsure when the possibility of a new brother came. But it really just sucks for Matthew because he really tried to get to know her so some love or even like could arise. And I think he kinda did like her, at least, and she kinda broke his heart. Oh well.
I was shocked when I found out Edith was the one that told Turkey about Mary and the death. Those girls are so mean to each other. And I really felt bad when she didn’t get proposed to because out of all the girls she would probably be the one to stay single and someone actually like her. It’s just sad, but I guess she deserved it. Serves her right for messing with her sister’s life. Doesn’t she know Mary is just that mean??
I like Sybil best out of them all. I like how she’s “political” and doesn’t care what anyone really thinks. I thought it was hilarious how she wore that pants outfit to dinner in the that one episode.

It was a surprise to find out that Bates had a criminal past, and all because of his wife. I guess he must really love her to go to jail over her but he isn’t in love with her anymore. He and Anna are so cute and they really need to just get together.

So now they are in war with Germany. I have a feeling that next season is gonna be bad. The males are probably gonna get drafted and then there won’t be that many suitors for the girls. I wonder if Mary will find anyone to marry. It would be pretty hilarious if Edith gets married before her. I secretly want that to happen. Hopefully I can start to watch the next season soon because this wait just might become unbearable.

The Hunger Games

Finally saw this movie and it was so good. I have to that it was the best movie adaptation of a book I’ve ever seen.
Now, they did take out stuff; some I noticed, some I didn’t, but it wasn’t anything major. And the stuff they added wasn’t bad either. Usually movie adaptations add and take out so much it changes the storyline majorly and you’re better off reading the book. That really didn’t happen for this movie.
I of course read the book before seeing the film and thought the writers did a pretty good job. The only thing I wished was for Katniss to narrate. The book is told from her perspective and you get a lot of her feelings and thoughts when reading that you don’t get in the movie. The narration would’ve also helped with the parts when she was in the arena by herself. There was a lot of quiet moments and I think they passed by them quickly because they did want it to be like “Castaway.” SIDENOTE: “Castaway is a film where a guy gets stranded on this island by himself and it’s basically no talking for probably hours. (I couldn’t get through the whole film.) But that’s what I was thinking of when these parts came.
One bad thing is that you really can’t understand the film fully unless you read the book first. There are some parts that I think wouldn’t of made sense if you didn’t read. But it really isn’t a bad thing to read the book because it’s amazing.
So, overall I’m really happy with this film adaptation and I can not wait until the next one comes out. I do think that this is the new series and I also think that it’s going to be better than Twilight and Harry Potter. I’ve seen both (not the whole series thought) and I think you can get a better variety of viewers with The Hunger Games. So my advice is to go see this, but make sure you read the book first.
